WHY RIM INTERNSHIP PROGRAM?

RIM internship program aims to give the interns the learning experience that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical applications and skills development in a professional setting. RIM internships give students and fresh graduate students the opportunity to gain valuable experience and make connections in a professional field they are considering for career paths, and give us the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

  • High school graduate students (aged 18 or more)
  • Students (Undergraduate or graduate)
  • Career Changer

WHEN TO APPLY?

RIM accepts the internship application during the whole year.

HOW TO APPLY?

The e-mail subject should be as follow:

  • Internship – RIM (name of the country) – Department (The department that you would like to be part of, for example, HR, finance, operations, IT, etc.)
    eg: Internship-RIM Rwanda-Operation
  • After reviewing the CVs and putting into consideration the applicant and the company’s needs, the selected applicants will be contacted by RIM’s HR for an interview.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM BENEFITS

  • Develops intentional learning objective goals that are structured into the experience and supervised by a professional with a relevant and related background in the field
  • Promotes academic, career and/or personal development
  • Includes learning objectives, observation, reflection, and evaluation
  • Involves industry-related and soft skill development
  • Directly monitored and evaluated for academic credit
  • Provides adequate supervision in a safe environment with the necessary tools to perform the learning goals agreed upon for the duration of the internship
  • Provides evaluation during and by the end of the program
  • Provides a recommendation letter by the end of the program.
